Iylia, Hiqmah and Huihui came down to my place to pick me up in a cab and that was when they dropped the major bomb of a news on us. they handed us our tickets and i will forever be grateful to Allah that our cab driver did not have a faint heart because Iylia's scream was seriously wtf. im sorry but there is no other term to describe what could possibly cause me to suffer from permanent damage to my ears- no exaggeration. i, on the other hand, was being very self-controlled. my ticket was bloody glowing in my hands okay and Raihan's Syukur was playing in my head- again, no exaggeration.
faaaaast-forward:The Click Five was the opening act of the night. i really only expected them to play 'Jenny' but they were on stage for close to an hour. i almost forgot that we were there for The Black Eyed Peas =/ anywhoo, i never really thought much of the band until that night, their songs are all awesome. i am now a proud fan with autographed posters and their latest cd. all i need to do now is know their names.
the group came on and it was goodbye seats and hello jumping all over the place. it was really fun to just let loose without having to care about what other people might think because everyone was pretty much grooving the night away.
my friends and i had our arms around each other while they performed 'Where Is the Love?' and i wanted to scream, "It's right here, right here!!". i didnt need that night to remind me that i was extremely lucky to be able to call them my bestfriends. what we have is nothing short of being perfect. we're very different people, with different approaches to life but i love that despite our differences, we can still come together and bring out the best in each other. having started school and all, it's been difficult to find time to meet but i love how we are so close that when we each disappear, we worry but understand and when you're ready to face the world again, they'll be there, waiting for you, loving you as much, maybe more, than they did before.
